At the heart of our surfing adventures lies Playa Santa Teresa, a jewel boasting consistent swells and an array of breaks accommodating surfers of all levels depending on the swell. The expansive beach break ensures that, even during peak seasons, it never gets too crowded. Whether it's a gentle long ride or a challenging barrel, Santa Teresa Beach offers it all. Of of the main accesses is located across from Kina Surf Shop. Rent a board and walk directly to the surf!



2. Suck Rock (Rocamar)

Suck Rock in the northern stretch of Santa Teresa delivers more cavernous waves. located directly in front of Rocamar Beach Cafe. This reef break, a magnet for seasoned surfers, provides the challenge, especially under a southwest swell.

3. Playa Carmen

A short journey south from Santa Teresa takes us to Playa Carmen, offering a consistent beach break perfect for intermediate surfers. The forgiving and "slopey" waves here make it an ideal spot for long boarders and family members refining their surfing prowess.

4. La Lora

Just north of Santa Teresa, La Lora is a go-to spot for the quintessential “stoke” that accompanies waves unfurling for remarkable distances. Faster and steeper, these waves are perfect for someone looking to get barreled on a day of good waves. The access is directly across from SOMOS, one of the top surf hotel's in the area.


5. Playa Hermosa

Playa Hermosa is celebrated for welcoming breaks catering to surfers across the spectrum. With picturesque scenery and exemplary waves, it stands as a beloved choice amongst both locals and visitors, particularly being one of the more beginner-friendly breaks in the area. Before or after your surf check out, Mantaraya Cafe for a delicious breakfast and their incredible banana coffee!

6. Cabuya (Rio Lajas and Cedros)

For the adventurous, a short quad ride away there is the town of Cabuya, offering two point breaks, Rio Lajas and Cedros, a left and a right hand within minutes of each other. These waves are less crowded and more friendly. A perfect escape for someone seeking off-the-beaten-path waves.
